Sharon M. Worth

December 15, 1943 — December 15, 2025

Sharon M. Worth, age 82, longtime resident of Northville, passed away December 15, 2025. She was born on December 15, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of Clyde and Gertrude (Hohman) Daly. She graduated from Dominican High School in Detroit with the class of 1961. She continued her education at University of Michigan where she earned a bachelor’s degree in medical technology. Sharon was united in marriage to Edwin M. Worth on December 27, 1965, they spent just shy of 60 years devoted to one another.

Sharon dedicated her life to caring for her husband and lovingly raising their three sons. She supported them in all of their extracurricular activities, ensuring they made it to countless practices, and volunteered her time with the PTA at Winchester Elementary.

Sharon was a faithful member of St. Kenneth Catholic Church since 1972. She was involved in the CCD program and generously gave her time by assisting with funeral luncheons and delivering meals to local soup kitchens.

Sharon was a fantastic cook who made sure her family had three home-cooked meals a day and later turned her love of cooking into a small catering business. An adventurous cook, she enjoyed trying new recipes that quickly became family favorites. One of the most beloved was her famous pot roast, also known as the “trough meal,” set at the center of the table for everyone to devour.

Sharon was an incredibly talented crafter who delighted in creating handmade treasures to sell at local craft shows or generously gift to family and friends. She poured her heart into each creation, especially the teddy bears she made and presented to her grandchildren on meaningful milestone days in their lives. Her creativity also included Raggedy Ann dolls, Christmas ornaments, quilts, knitted sweaters, and handmade cards for every occasion. Each Christmas, Sharon lovingly crafted a holiday card accompanied by a special letter written by Edwin and baked no fewer than 18 varieties of cookies to share with those she loved. Her creativity extended beyond crafting; Sharon had a wonderful eye for style and was a gifted decorator. Her homes were always beautifully furnished, warm, and welcoming.

Sharon was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments spent with a good book. She also loved traveling with her husband, touring much of Europe together, including Paris, Venice, and Ireland. Closer to home, they enjoyed spending time at their vacation home in Petoskey, Michigan, and road trips throughout the country, proudly visiting every single state in the United States.

Her greatest joy came from her family, and she truly treasured the time they spent together. Sharon was a devoted grandmother, a loving wife and mother, and a dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Edwin Worth; her sons, Scott (Nichole) Worth and Kevin (Nancy) Worth; her daughter-in-law, Kelle Snyder; her grandchildren, Ben, Alex Anne, Abe, Nate, Rose, Lucy, Mary, Drew, and Allison; her sisters-in-law, Mary (Andy) Sloan, Janet (Jeff) Smith, and Donna (Gil) Crevier; and her brother-in-law, Robert Titsworth. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Worth; her parents; and her brother-in-law, Tim Titsworth.
