Born December 11, 1940, died June 17, 2025. Long time resident of Northville, Michigan. Devoted husband of Marilynn Grace (Bloodworth) Goering. Loving and proud father of Elizabeth Lynn (Gerald) Reigle of Florida and Christine Anne (Adam) Lally of Connecticut. Born in Cleveland, OH, son of the late Wilbur B. Goering and Mathilda A. (Werman) Goering. Brother of the late Bernard W. (Joan) Goering. Uncle of nine.
Graduate of Case Institute of Technology (BSME) and Michigan State University (MBA) who greatly enjoyed his career as an automotive engineer. Worked for Kelsey-Hayes Company and others, retiring from Robert Bosch LLC. Longtime member of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). In retirement, he took great pleasure in travels with wife Marilynn.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. He will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
