Charlotte A. Roberts

Charlotte Antoinette Balconi Roberts, age 90, of Northville, passed away on September 26, 2026.

Charlotte was born in Hancock, Michigan on November 29, 1935, and was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Johnson) Balconi.

Charlotte attended Hancock Public Schools and graduated from Hancock High School in 1953. She then attended Suomi College graduating June 1954. Charlotte continued her education by graduating from Michigan Tech with a 1958 bachelor’s degree in medical technology. In 1975 she attended Wayne State graduating with a Master of Science Degree in Medical Technology. She became an instructor at Wayne State teaching classes in medical electronics and hematology.

Charlotte was predeceased in death by her beloved husband M.M. ‘Bob’ Roberts whom she married Nov. 4, 1961.

Over the years Charlotte enjoyed extensive travel with her mother and Bob visiting countries all over the world. Charlotte was also accomplished pianist and singer. Throughout her life Charlotte always had dogs whom she and Bob cherished immensely. Charlotte was also a proud member of the Northville Woman’s club.

Charlotte is survived by nieces Patricia (Tim) Duff, Anne (Butch) Smith and nephew Bruce (Lori) Robinson, 3 great nieces,1 great nephew and eleven great, great nieces and nephews.
