Barbara B. Baker

Barbara B. Baker, age 80, of Novi, formerly of West Acres in Commerce Township, passed away July 1, 2020. She was born on July 7, 1939 in Pontiac, Michigan; daughter of James and Zillah (nee Fitch) Baker.

Barbara proudly worked as an Executive Secretary to the Chief Financial Officer at Ford Motor Company for many years. Barb had a passion for playing bridge, golfing, and travelling. She was also known for being a snappy dresser.  Barb loved animals and nature; she enjoyed the companionship of her cat and would watch deer from her home in Novi. Barb lived her life according to the 12 Steps of AA. She exuded warmth and kindness and was a loyal friend. Barb touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.

Barb is survived by her loving sister Betty (Richard) France; and her nephews Jay and Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
