Age 66, of Northville, passed away peacefully April 4, 2014. She was born April 14, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter of Jack and Joan (nee Edwards) Chaille. Penny was united in marriage to Howard Weaver on November 23, 1983 and they spent 30 loving years together. Penny received a Master Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Oakland University. She also had a Specialist Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Center for Humanistic Studies. In 2005, she became a Medium Missionary through the Chesterfield Seminary. Penny was a hard worker; she had various jobs throughout her life that she enjoyed, among them, Sales Manager for Pontiac Business Institute, Flight Attendant with TWA, Home Economics teacher, and make-up artist, where she was a consultant for CBS. For the past 14 years, Rev. Penny Weaver, Spiritual Advisor was the owner of Penny Weaver, Inc. where she practiced as a therapist and LLP Psychologist, as well as a Reverend, Spiritual Advisor, Spirit Medium Channel and Reader, and Reiki Teacher Master, Sekhem-Seichim Master Teacher, Sekhem (Australian) Teacher, Karuna Master Teacher, Blue Star Celestial Energy Master Teacher, Certified Hypnotherapist, Shaman, and Aura Photographer. Penny authored the book called "Self Mastery" and was often a guest speaker at seminars and organizations, where she would share her vast knowledge and experience. She was a member of First Spiritual Temple in Royal Oak and the Northville Chamber of Commerce. Penny adored her grandchildren. She was always positive and upbeat; she was a good listener who loved helping people. She enjoyed travelling with groups she took to visit sacred sites, such as Sedona, Stonehenge, and Indian Burial sites. She also enjoyed reading and learning new things. Penny is survived by her beloved husband, Howard Weaver; her parents, Jack and Joan Chaille; her step children, Renee (Larry Wright) Weaver-Wright and Scott (Liz) Weaver; her grandchildren, Alison, Evelyn, and Matthew Wright and Parker and Brendan Weaver; her siblings, Rebecca Renner and Andy (Mary) Chaille; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Noble, Bea Caffrey, Barb Weaver, and Betty Sheehan; and her niece and nephew, Amelia Chaille and John Chaille, along with many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Sam Chaille and her nephew Lincoln Kaplan. The family is very thankful to the people who supported her. A time of gathering will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with an Honoring Ceremony at 7:15 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Italian American Banquet Center, 39200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia. A luncheon will follow the service.
