Edwin Eugene Gilpin

Edwin Eugene Gilpin Age 88, of South Lyon passed away July 29, 2010.  Husband of Gertrude “Trudy” Gilpin. Step-father of Steven (Karen) Faine of Farmington Hills, Sheila (Dr. Norton) Bicoll of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Susan Burns Hoffman of Amarillo, Texas.  He was the grandfather of Adam (Brandy) Bicoll, Jessica (Ted) Benson and Tiffani Burns.  Ed was a Veteran of WWII and retired from the Detroit Police Department after 25 years of dedicated service.  He was a Mason.  There will be a private memorial service at a later date at South Lyon Senior Care and Rehab.  Memorial may be made to South Lyon Senior Care and Rehab, 700 Reynold Sweet Parkway, South Lyon, MI 48178.  Arrangements by Casterline Funeral Home, Inc. of South Lyon.
