Karl Gunnar Bjorkman

Karl Gunnar Bjorkman Age 62, of South Lyon, passed away May 8, 2010.  He was born December 25, 1947 to Einar and Majken (Andersson) Bjorkman in Hatuna, Sweden.  He was united in marriage to Carolynn Johnson on January 23, 1981 and they spent 29 loving years together until his death.  He moved to South Lyon in 1988, he was formerly of Sweden.  Gunnar was the owner of CG Technologies, Inc. for the past 10 years.  He was a member of Salem Bible Church and was affiliated with Northridge Church.  He was also a member of the Swedish Club in Farmington Hills.  Gunnar enjoyed working on cars; fixing them up and tinkering with them.  He cherished the time he spent travelling back to Sweden to visit his family. He is survived by his loving wife Carolynn Bjorkman; his mother Majken Bjorkman; his children Jeremy Bjorkman, Reuben (Shannon) Bjorkman, and Gabriel Bjorkman; and his sister Kristina Rojdeby.   He was preceded in death by his father. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Salem Bible Church, 9481 Six Mile Rd., Salem.  Pastor Lance Rubringer will officiate the service.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to Salem Bible Church or Northridge Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Casterline Funeral Home, Inc. of South Lyon.
