Age 85, a
longtime resident of Northville, passed away May 22, 2010.He was born May 26, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan
to Herbert N. and Annamae (Perry) Frogner.Jim proudly served his country as an Aviation Cadet in the Army Air
Corps during WWII.He received a
Bachelor of Science in Mineralogy from the University of Michigan,
where he played on the hockey team.He
was united in marriage to Jeanne Decker in 1947 and they spent 62 loving years
together until his death.Jim was the
CEO of Industrial Sound Control and later Eagle Data.He was a member of St.
Paul’s LutheranChurch in
Northville.He was also a member of The
Paul Bunyan Club, Plymouth Elks, Northville Gourmet Club, and the Son’s of Norway.He was an avid fisherman and golfer.He enjoyed cooking and appreciated all
aspects of Culinary Arts.He also
enjoyed vegetable gardening.Jim had a
great sense of humor and loved storytelling and sharing.He was an amateur inventor and had applied
for patents for his inventions.
He is survived
by his loving wife Jeanne Frogner; his children Kristine (Stephen Marsden)
Frogner, Charles Frogner, Jim (Ellen) Frogner, David (Laurel) Frogner, and Ann (Russ) Kelly; and
his grandchildren Adrienne, Joran, Erica, Madeline, Sara, Kristen, and Jim. He was preceded in death by his parents, and
his brother Charles Frogner.
A time of gathering will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, Inc. 122 West Dunlap, Northville. A Memorial
Service will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s LutheranChurch, 201 Elm Street,
Northville.Pastor Thomas Lubeck will
officiate the service.The family would
