Bob E. Prom

Bob E. Prom Age 76, died March 4, 2010 at his home in Brighton after an extended illness.  Bob was born March 30, 1933 in Northville, Michigan to Edgar and Catherine (Keller) Prom.  He graduated from Northville High School in 1951.  After serving four years in the Air Force, he married his wife Dolores.  He earned a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University.   Bob taught Elementary and Middle school in Northville until his retirement in 1989.  He coached sports and served as Recreation Director in Northville.  An avid sportsman and golfer, he was active in the Rocky Mt. Elk foundation and served as its State and District Chair.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his devotion to family.             Bob is survived by his wife Dolores; his children, Barry (Pupae) Prom, Linda (Russ) Garcia, and Brian (Carol) Prom; his brother Kevin Ling; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.             A time of gathering will be held Wednesday, March 10 from 2-5pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 5pm at Casterline Funeral Home, Inc. 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.  In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated to Cure PSP, Executive Plaza III, 11350 McCormick Rd., Suite 906, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
