Age 87, of Northville, passed away January
31, 2010. He was born October 2, 1922 in Frankfurt,
Kentucky to William E. and Iola
D. (Riley) Linfoot.He proudly served in
the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.He
was united in marriage toHarriet E. (Moore) on March 1, 1947,
and they spent 59 loving years together until her death in 2007.William, a retired foreman with Chrysler,
attended services at First Presbyterian Church of Northville. He was a member
of the Masons and Shriner’s.He loved
his family, especially his daughter and granddaughters.William had a very sharp mind and was very
generous.He enjoyed watching old
movies, playing cards, and gardening.He
also loved his wife’s Southern Cooking.
He is survived by his beloved daughter
Linda (David) Draper; and his granddaughters Danielle and Olivia.He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, 1 brother and 4
sisters.
The visitation will be held
Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home,
Inc. 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.A
Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 10 a.m. with visitation
beginning 9:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Main St., Northville.Rev. Kent Clise and Rev. James Russell will
officiate the service.He will be laid
to rest at RuralHillCemetery
in Northville.In lieu of flowers the
